Claire's Chateau is meant to feel like a homecoming for everyone who visits. We are committed to making both our Site and our gatherings as welcoming and accessible as we reasonably can, and to being honest about the character of a historic home so you can plan with confidence.
About the Property
- The Chateau is a restored 1930s Victorian home. Like most homes of its era, it has steps at the porch entry, historic doorway widths, and a mix of hardwood, rug, brick, and garden-path surfaces.
- The principal gathering spaces, the gardens, and the porch are on the ground level.
- Seating is available throughout the home and gardens, and quiet rooms are available for anyone who needs a calm moment during a gathering.
How We Can Help
- Tell us what you need when you book, and we will plan together. We are glad to reserve the closest parking, adjust layouts and seating, stage activities in the most accessible spaces, and build extra time into your schedule.
- Trained service animals are always welcome.
- For sound healing sessions and wellness gatherings, we are happy to adapt the format, seating, and sensory environment, including lighting and volume, to your needs.
- If you'd like to see the spaces before booking, we offer walkthroughs by appointment and can provide current photos or a video tour of any room.

Known Limitations
Because the Chateau is a historic residence, some features, such as the porch steps and original doorways, cannot be fully modified. We will always tell you candidly what to expect in any space relevant to your gathering, and we will work with you on arrangements that let everyone in your party participate comfortably.
